Terms of Service

By using Apna Saathi ("the service"), you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully. The service is operated from India by M/s Kalpana Farms (GSTIN 08EAMPK8819M1ZT, Rajasthan).

1. The service

Apna Saathi is a personal-organizer assistant that runs entirely inside WhatsApp. You send messages (text, image, voice). We extract structured details, save them, and send you reminders at the times you specify.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or have your guardian's consent) to use Apna Saathi. Use of the service must comply with WhatsApp's and Meta's terms.

3. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

• Use Apna Saathi for illegal activity, harassment, spam, or distribution of harmful content.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or automate the bot beyond personal use.
• Send malicious files, executables, or content that violates anyone's rights.
• Misuse medical reminders as a substitute for professional medical advice — always consult your doctor.

4. Medical disclaimer

Medicine reminders are convenience features, not medical advice. Always verify dosages and timings with your prescribing doctor or pharmacist. Apna Saathi is not liable for missed doses, incorrect AI extraction, or any health outcome resulting from relying on the bot.

5. Free vs paid plans

• Starter (Free): 5 items per calendar month, basic reminders, Hindi & English support.
• Saathi Basic (₹99/month): Unlimited items, voice notes, weekly digest, CSV/PDF export. Auto-renews monthly until cancelled.

You can cancel any paid plan at any time by messaging "cancel" on WhatsApp. You retain access until the end of the current billing period; we don't issue refunds for partial periods.

6. Reliability

We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee 100% uptime. Reminder delivery depends on WhatsApp, Gupshup and Meta — outside parties whose outages we don't control. For time-critical or safety-critical reminders, please use redundant tools too.

7. Your data

Your messages and extracted data are stored as described in our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of all content you share. By sending us content you grant us a limited licence to store, process and display it back to you for the purpose of providing the service.

8. Termination

You may terminate your account anytime by messaging "delete my account" on WhatsApp. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or applicable law, with notice where reasonably possible.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apna Saathi's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding 3 months, or ₹500, whichever is greater.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

11. Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced on WhatsApp before they take effect.
